Blanca Vivancos is a Spanish actress based in the US. She is fluent in English (with an accent), French, and Spanish.
Blanca started her acting career in the Madrid Off-Theatre Scene. She moved to the US in 2012 on a Fulbright grant, and has been consistently working in film, TV, and theatre since. In 2016 she performed in one of the latest theatre production of Trusty Sidekick, resident company at Lincoln Center. Her most recent work in film includes a supporting role in award winning director Naghmeh Shirkhan's last feature and a principal in Julia Solomonoff Nobody’s Watching (selected to compete in Encuentros at the Miami International Film Festival). In TV, she played lead roles in the shows Monsters Inside Me and The Deadliest Decade. Her commercial work includes clients like Sephora, Giphy, Optium, and Wom.
Blanca received her MA in Educational Theatre from NYU. Her background includes working with casting directors such as Todd Thaler and Karyn Casl, and with professors from the Atlantic Acting School, NYU, the Royal Spanish Academy of Dramatic Arts (RESAD), and Replika. She completed her performance education with voice and dance training (ballet, flamenco, contact improvisation, and kuchipudi).
Along with her acting career, Blanca shares her artistic skills working as a Teaching Artist at the New Victory Theatre. In addition to her artistic path, she has earned a Law degree, and has vast experience in international humanitarian development projects.
